Format

To connect the web part to a SharePoint list:

  • Choose a site collection where the list is or will be stored. You can choose the current site or another site
  • Create a new list or choose an already existing list

if you choose another site, you have your frequent and recent sites to pick from or you can search for a specific site

To creat a new list, just insert a name and click "Create list"

To select an existing list, you have a search box to search for the list's name

Then click on the checkbox to connect the web part to the list. If the list was created by this web part, it will be ready to use. If it's a custom list with custom columns, you need to apply some mappings by clicking on the cog wheel.

View


Under the view selector, it is possible to choose a custom view or to filter the content using the camlQuery syntax.

Mapping options


For each column you may need to reference your custom list's column. All columns with the same name will be automaticaly mapped, so if you are using a Celebrations native list (created on the web part) all fields are already mapped. Otherwise, you need to apply the mapings yourself.
